Mark - when my other half got her 2nd gen shuffle earlier in the year it
didn't come with Itunes, pressumably because including a CD would have
meant making the packaging bigger. It's just a mtter of downloading the
software, possibly not such a bad thing as this way there is no worries
about software being out of date by the time it gets in to the customers
hand. But no where in the packaging or instructions does it tell you you
need to download the software inorder to add content to it. Overall
documentation and support was quite poor. It took her a look of reading
around the web to work out why is wasn't charging correctly too.
Apparently they only charge from usb if the machine is active, not if it
is on stand-by or if the screensaver is running.

Subject: [access-uk] Ipod nano itues software

Hi all.

Just bought an iPod Nano for my sighted daughter. I cannot find if it
has the itunes software packaged with it. Ther eis no CD with the
package as delivered, and I wondered if it is on the player itself?
