Hi Rodger,
I use the alt and left cursor to jump back to the previous web search with no
problem, or the alt plus right cursor to go forward in previous pages i have
visited. If this isn’t happening on your machine, you might have a setting
selected that is preventing you going back, but I don’t know what that could be.
good luck
Jim

Subject: [access-uk] Internet Searching
I’m using MS Windows 7 Pro. On previous operating systems, I’m not sure about
XP but on ones before that, if you did a Google search and the one you selected
was not the one you needed you were able to hit the back button on Internet
Explorer, and possibly other browsers as well, and return to the list of
choices the search engine had found and then try another option. That seems not
to be the case these days. I have to close IE then re-open it and type in the
search parameter again. I’m used to doing this now but it seems laborious to me
so am I missing something?
Many thanks Roger
