Yes that is what you will have to do.

Subject: [access-uk] Installing programs onto a netbook

Hello everyone,

As mentioned in a previous post, I have a trial version of MS Office 2007 on
my MSI Wind netbook. I wish to install MS word 2003 which is on CD. As
there isn't a CD-ROM drive on the netbook, can I copy the contents of the CD
into a folder and install it from there? I would, of course, use our
desktop PC to copy the CD onto my USB flash drive.

Best wishes,

Clive Pallett
