Hi again everyone, it’s alright I’ve just looked on Google and it has to be an iPhone 5s or newer to use Alex. The phone I’m asking about is my old iPhone 5. So now I know!

Thanks anyway.

Hi Eleanor and all,

Unfortunately Alex is still not showing under
settings>general>accessibility>voiceover>speech>US English. All is there
under US English are the options of default and enhanced quality. Turning
the phone off and on didn’t solve the issue.

I’m pretty sure that there were others who had this issue too. A fix was
posted to the list some time ago but I can’t find it now. Am I dreaming?

TIA
Amro

go to settings, general, accessibility, voices, Alex is under US English.
read what it says about Alex and then there should be a button to download.
Alex may not end up in your rotor so you may have to Adam to it and you may
have to turn your phone off and on again after the download.
