Tricky one Debbie. Can you get a pair of eyes to hand? If
so, try tapping the F8 key repeatedly immediately after you
switch on. If you are VERY lucky, it may come up (though
NOT SPEAKING) with a menu, at least one item of which will
be "Start in Safe Mode". Again if you are very lucky, it may
recognise that the SR3 installation is incomplete, and offer
a means of recovery.

George.

Subject: [access-uk] Help fatal error

Hi

Sadly I was downloading service pack 3 the other day and the
computer went
off, it got to the stage where it said on the screen
completing installation
performing clean up.
Now when I switch the machine on it just says fatal error is
there anything
I can do or is it the end of the machine?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Debbie
