Hi All,

Catherine I'm using Outlook 2002, OEM version 10.2627.2625. This
sometimes differs a little from the straight MS version and I have a
feeling you may want options for 2003. This may help though.

First, when you reply to messages, you can choose for any one message by
going into the Format menu (Alt+O) and over-ride your currently set
options. (Well, theoretically I think that works anyway.)

In the longer term, this may help:

Go into Tools, options, and over to the Mail Format tab. Tab round to
the Internet Format button, press "Enter", tab once and see if you find
something which says: "When sending Outlook Rich Text messages to
Internet recipients, use this format - and there you have three choices,
one of which is "Convert to Plain Text Format" and the one I have
currently set.

I hope this might help.

Catherine, sorry I use Outlook Express so don't know where to find it in

Outlook 2000... In Outlook Express it's in Tools, Options, the sixth tap
on
the Send page. Maybe an Outlook user can step in here.

Cheers,

Amro
