[access-uk] G-mail and IMAP IN wINDOWS LIVE MAIL

Hi all,
I'm using Windows live mail and my default account there is g-mail.
I'm using this account through pop but I wish to change it to Imap.
Imap is - internet message access protocol.
I do know to do it and I had enabled Imap in g-mail website but my problem
is that all the archieve folder is going to my pc and I wish to prevent it.
I read about Imap and went to something called:
labs advance controls in G-mail website but didn't find there the correct
settings that will prevent my messages in the archieve, to go to my windows
live mail account.
Any help here is greatly appreciated
