Hi Folk,

A post sent me just now by a friend of mine re emoticons which I would like to share!

See below.
TonySweeney

Those are emoticons. These are little faces turned sideways that make a
picture with the print letters.
The two dots of the colon represent the eyes. The hyphen is the straight
line of the nose. The capital D is an open mouthed smils and the capital
represents a smile with your tongue out.

Emoticons would be easy to show in tactile graphics with Duxbury's
QuickTack.

Here are some sample ones
:-) or :) : Smile or Happy
:-( or :( : Frown or Sad
:-D or :D : Open-mouthed smile
:-p or :p : Smile with tongue out
B-) or B) : Smile with sunglasses
:-S or :S : Confused Smile
