Hi, Sandra!

Try rebooting your PC. Sometimes this deletes folders which are currently in use.

If the folder''s still there, try deleting it after the reboot.

At 19:51 03/05/05, Sandra Henshall typed furiously:

Hi all,
As I had a problem with Freedom Box last night, I decided to uninstall it, get a new download from the website and re-install. After I'd removed the program, I checked in program files to make sure nothing was left. The freedom box directory was still there so I tried to delete it manually. I got the following error message:
Cannot delete folder srvany.exe. Access is denied. Make sure that it is not write protected or the disk is not full or the file is not in use.
I tried to re-install Freedom box and got the error cannot open file such and such to write. Abort, retry, cancel or ignore. It seems that until I can get rid of this folder, I won't be able to re-install Freedom Box. So, after all this rambling, my question is, how do you delete a file that won't delete?
Any help would be appreciated. I've also contacted Freedom Box about the problems I was having with the program but they haven't come back yet. Using Windows XP Home by the way.

Cheers,
Sandra.
