You can obtain a smaller sized key which is similar to a normal door key in addition to the large key.

I wasn't so much thinking along the lines of a card key, but that isn't too much of a bad idea either, anything to replace the hugely inconvenient carrying around of those damn keys. Yes, I know that for people with dexterity issues they are useful, but RADAR didn't need to use a one size fits all model when producing them. Goodness! think of the costs alone!----- Original Message ----- From: "Derek Hornby" <derek.hornby_uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, March 11, 2011 9:28 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: FW: Testing the Radar National Key Scheme AppA card key would be a good idea, like the ones hotels use. -----Original Message-----From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf OfColin Fowler Sent: Friday, March 11, 2011 8:31 AM To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: FW: Testing the Radar National Key Scheme Appin this technology driven age, why are RADAR still insisting on the carryingon our persons of a whopping great lump of ironmongery? surely they couldhave developed the technology for an ap that unlocks these toilets without.----- Original Message ----- From: "Janet Tuggey" <janet@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: "'BCAB Discussion List'" <bcab@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>; <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, March 11, 2011 8:25 AM Subject: [access-uk] FW: Testing the Radar National Key Scheme AppFor info. The Radar NKS key offers disabled people independent access to almost 9,000 locked public toilets in the country. The National Key Scheme provides toilets for disabled people that are fitted with Radar locks to keep the facilities in good condition. Over 25 years the Scheme has been adopted by 400+ local authorities and many transport, retail and leisure providers. If you would like to assist Radar please email Nathan Jelf-Mannion atNathan.jelf-mannion@xxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:Nathan.jelf-mannion@xxxxxxxxxxxx> or call 020 7566 0115 for more information. Unfortunately we are not ableto pay you for your time, but any help you give us would be greatly appreciated.
