Helo Caroline. I'll be interested to see what replies you get to this question as I anticipate doing some FTP downloading/uploading in the near future. In the meantime, it might be worth mentioning that GW Micro, the writers of Window-Eyes, have always recommended FTP Voiger, although I don't think this is a free offering. If you are interested in finding out more then go to: http://www.ftpvoyager.com/ Congratulations by the way on your BlindCoolTech contributions. I enjoyed the first one, but haven't heard the second yet. I had FTP Explorer recommended to me, but I've had a couple of problems with it. I've been using version 1.0.1 build 35. The first problem is that I've been unable to resume a download, even though the program asks me if I would like to attempt to do so. Every time I click on OK to resume, the partial file is over-written and the download starts from the beginning again. This might be because the site from which I'm downloading doesn't support resuming downloads, but I don't think this is the case. The more serious problem though is that, when a file is completely downloaded, instead of stopping, the program just starts downloading the file all over again without giving me a chance to intervene. If anyone knows what I have to do to get the best out of this program, please let me know, or if there is a better FTP client I should try, I'd appreciate any recommendations. Thanks, Caroline. ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
