This initially came through blank but after changing the encoding I could read it.

Ok, - how about if you go to a folder in to which mail from that account is filtered? e.g if you want to send mail from account 1, go in to a folder in to which you filter mail from account 1 and open a new mail. You should find that it is sent from account 1. The same is then true for folders for mail from account 2, account 3 etc. This method does assume that you only filter mail from 1 account in to any given folder but certainly in Outlook this works.

Yes as long as it is Reply. If starting a new e-mail one needs to ensure it is being sent from the desired e-mail account, a mistake I kept making in the beginning when I set up different accounts. I an more used to it now but can still make the mistake from time to time.

Is it not the case that when you reply to an Email the reply goes from the account to which the original message was sent? That is certainly true in Outlook but it’s so long since I’ve used OE that I can’t remember.

Subject: [access-uk] E-mail accoounts

Hi
At present I have set up message rules so that messages say from access uk or bcab go into different folders in my Inbox. I have say a folder for access uk and another one for bcab. Now my question is this, I have different e-mail accounts, e.g. eleanorburke@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:eleanorburke@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> eleanorburke1@xxxxxxxxxx<mailto:eleanorburke1@xxxxxxxxxx> and then I have yet another which is neela4@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:neela4@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> and there are 3 other accounts. When I go to send an e-mail from any of these accounts I have to go to the From drop down box and choose which account I want the e-mail to go from. Now if I forget to do this, the person could get an e-mail from the wrong account. Is there any way I can set up Mailboxes in outlook Express to overcome this problem? On my mobile phone I have been able to do this so for example all access uk and bcab e-mails come in to my bt account. On the other hand e-mails which are private and confident ial come in to my neela account and are kept separately. Hope I am making myself clear and that someone can direct me how I can do this.

Eleanor
