You could try realalternative which does play the bbc stuff ok but I had
problems with it when trying to listen to other radio stations RTE being
one example.

Subject: [access-uk] Downloading Real Player
Hi.
I want to ask if anyone here has downloaded the free version of Real player lately. I am trying to advise a friend how to go about it so that he can use the BBC's listen again feature. When I follow the links off the BBC site I seem to get trapped in a procedure asking me to set up an account and give a credit card number, which I am not prepared to do. So, how does one avoid this? Anyone know please? Ray
