Hi Adrian,

I don't know your location in France, but the following has
some interesting information about broadband over there
together with a URL where you can check to see if it is
available in your area.

Here's the Tiny URL

Subject: [access-uk] Dial up internet connections

Hi

I am only on a dial up connection. My phone line is up
stairs, sometimes it would be handy to have my laptop
downstairs. Is there any way I can connect to the net
without using a cable? I.e. via rooter, do rooters work with
dial up connections? Is there a form of wireless that would
work with dial up. If I could get broadband I would but it's
just not available here at all.

Regards

Adrien
