[access-uk] DVD PLAYER

I have been trying to play a DVD on my PC using DVD Audio Extractor, but
whatever I do the thing won't play. All I get is a little tune, and then
nothing.
I have tried various software, but must be a right thicko, as I can't get
any of them to work to my satisfaction.
What I really want is a DVD player which is accessible to a totally blind
person, has simple controls and a remote that isn't rows of tiny buttons
with no indication of what they do. I bought a portable player a while ago,
but didn't find it all that successful. I don't have a TV, only the Portset
Media Centre, so need a separate DVD player.
Can anyone recommend anything?
