[access-uk] Creative X-Fi card settings advise needed

Hi all..
Anyone use Goldwave and the Creative Labs X-Fy sound card?
I could do with a little help regarding the volume settings within Goldwave.
To complicate matters a bit further, I've got the Optic out and in attached
to my AV unit.
Would welcome any advice
