Hi Phil, why not go all the way by bus? It may take longer but it might be possible. We are not allowed the trains at all in my area so you are a little
better off in Nottingham.

Cheers

Hi Yusuf,

I thought that might be the case, bit of a shame but I'll just have to use
my disabled railcard instead!

Cheers,

Phil

Hi, You won't be able to use the train part of your pass once you go out of the Nots area, but if you are using a bus once you reach Birmingham you will
be able to use the free pass for that.

Subject: [access-uk] Concessionary travel scheme

Hi,

A question for you good folks:

I will be travelling from Nottingham to Birmingham by train later this
week and I'm wondering how/if I can use my new concessionary travel
pass for this journey? I know the pass covers me for free off-peak
bus & train travel within Notts but as the scheme is now a national
one I'm wondering whether I get the same deal if travelling outside of
Nottingham?

I've tried looking at the info I got with the pass from my local
council but it doesn't seem to cover this kind of question.

Your help much appreciated as ever,

Cheers,

Phil
