Hi all,
Sorry for the cross post, but I thought some of you might be interested.
I took delivery yesterday of a Acer Chromebook Flip.
Enabling accessibility was a breeze, I just had to hit control-alt-Z on
first boot. Setup was also completely accessible.
Then I visited http://www.chromevox.com to find out how to use Chromevox,
and I love it.
I think it has some of the best web experience I have seen. You can
redefine every key on the screen reader as well, which is called Chromevox.
The latest version though is called Chromevox Next.
I found the browser to be faster than either IE or Firefox and as I say, I
am really enjoying the experience.
There are loads of Chromebooks you can buy, but I chose a very small one, as
screen doesn't matter to me. Mine is 11 inches.
So I am hoping to be offering Chromebook training very soon as well, I just
need to get up to speed with Chromevox, but I'm loving it so far. Well done
Google!
All the best
Steve
