Actually, I don't think that jaws 4.51 supports msn messenger 6.x. To my knowledge, it only supported msn messenger up to 5.0,

I am not sure which version of windows you have. If you have 2k or any flavor of xp, you can use Windows messenger which reads fine with jaws 4.51.

If you are using win 9x/me still, you might want to give Miranda IM a try, which is a multimessenger which can access msn, yahoo, aim, and a few others if you have an ID for the chat network.

Good luck!

You can install version 6.2 from the www.whitestick website which should work and you won't keep being prompted to upgrade.

Hi,

Are there any chat clients I can use with JAWS 4.5 that don't involve going
through a painful registering process? I have a .net passport and a yahoo
id, - can I use Yahoo Messenger or anything else with JAWS 4.5? I did use
MSN Messenger but it won't let me use it without upgrading, and I don't
think JAWS 4.5 will work with latest version of MSN...
