Good advice from Sandra as always. I too have a Panasonic cordless, though its
very menu driven for setup. Just an aside, when it was new I dropped it in the
bath! After drying out, including a short session in my fan oven, it worked
OK! (Don't recommend anyone trying this out.)
I shall keep a note of the BT Response voice feedback phone, especially if I
can find one on eBay.

are quite large and easily navigated. If you want an answering machine with
full voice prompts so that setting up is totally independent, try the BT
Response 75. It has 30 minutes recording time and everything speaks so you
don't need any help with this at all and the quality of playback isn't bad
at all.
