Hi Steve.
Not here and using the latest IOS. A single finger swipe down puts you
straight on close and once double tapped, you are left in the close app default
so you can simply flick across the list of apps double tapping on those that
you want to close.
Regards.

Hi Kevin,
If you swipe up to close the app, you’ll always get there first time. Down
cycles you through all the options, but up will take you straight to close.
All the best
Steve

Hi Janet.
Double press your home button to get into the app switcher.
Swipe left and right along the open apps.
Swipe down with one finger on the app you want to close until it says ‘Close
App’.
Then double tap.
You can now continue to move left and right double tapping on each app as the
default action will be set to close the app.
Regards.
Kevin
