I'de say that given Pete's using Window-Eyes with Firefox, the simplest way of getting to the advanced tab within options is to do a mouse search for it, and simply click on the advanced tab button.
Under that tab it is the general option that's needed to bring up the form with the auto-compete option in it.

Sorry, meant to say Goto tools>Options, then find the help button.
Tab once more and you should see a dropdown list containing;
Main, Tabs, Content, Applications, Privacy, Security and Advanced.

Hi Peter.
It's more like a drop down than a tab.
If you open Firefox and tab to the Help button, you need to tab once
more to a list of options they are;
Main, Tabs, Content, Applications, Privacy, Security and Advanced.

The solution to stopping Firefox from auto-competing appears to be

under

advanced and unchecking the box which says "search for text when I

start

typing"

This is the final Advanced tab in the options dialogue.
