Hi Carol,
I don’t know what the deal is about this replacable battery. It will probably
last two or three years, and the whole unit is only 40 quid, so a replacable
battery, would probably be as expensive as a new unit.
And think of how much money you’d have to spend out on double As if it was
regular batteries.

Jackie, I have been a little sad and as I saw that he had a battery which is
not replaceable by the user. I can't be bothered, so much these days, with
things that require to be sent that for new batteries! Well, I suppose I have
enough of them to warrant not getting another… :-) Thanks anyway! Maybe I will
take a look at it one day! :-)

Not Steve, but I can tell you that the lower price is VAT exemption which will
be applied at checkout if you shop for it on Steve’s website.
As for its dimensions, Micro-Speak is about the size of a tranny radio, so not
that big and very lightweight. The screen is a small oblong size so not that
intrusive either. I have written a review which is on the reviews page of my

Just another quickie with some questions on this one! By the way, I have read
the blurb! :-)
It sounds impressive and useful. I gather there are two prices given. Does this
mean that for some people you do not have to pay the VAT and if so, I'm
assuming, we may or may not be exempt. What's the criteria, please?
I do not understand the size of the size :-) perhaps you could convert into
something more useful for us, such as how it compares with a another product we
would know or please give in inches. Finally how big is the actual screen and
does this make it intrusive?
