Hello,
Two apps which are mentioned on the Eyes-free e-mail list are:
Androcr
and
abbyy Textgrabber
Androcr is free, and Abbyy Textgrabber cost £3.32 last time I looked.
Some users from the Eyes-free list have been
successful in using these, but others, including
me, have not! Abbyy did not seem to pick up any
text at all, and Androcr gave me a lot of
rubbish! Admittedly, I have not tried hard
enough since my first attempts and could
certainly do with sighted help to judge distance and angle of phone, etc.
