Yup Darren, Sounds like a Gremlin got into the works. Fingers crossed it wont' come back. If it does... some possible things. Uninstall Winamp, reboot. Re-install a fresh downloaded copy of Winamp. If it persists and you notice the distortion in other audio outputs, (EG, your Screen Readers Text To Speech and Windows Sounds), it might be a soundcard issue. It could be other hardware faults as well, but hopefully all's well now. Cheers, Barry. > -----Original Message----- > From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On > Behalf Of Darran Ross > Sent: Thursday, October 07, 2010 9:24 PM > To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [access-uk] Re: A Winamp Question > > Yusuf and Barry, thanks for the replies. > > I went to check the DSP output plug-in as Yusuf suggested, but thought > I'd > fire up a file before hand to see if I could notice any changes in the > audio, should I make any changes settings wise. > > Needn't have worried.
