Hi Tony.

Can you tell me which modem it is you have? The reason I ask is that different
modems use different connection software. I believe with the latest modems,
the three Birdseye dashboard is used, and this is totally inaccessible. If you
have the three connection manager however, this can be controlled with
shortcuts. I have mobile broadband myself and absolutely love it even if it is
a little slower than a conventional home broadband service. I get 15 gigs of
data allowance for just 15 quid, half price as I've a three contract phone as
well. If you'd prefer to talk to me, please feel free to email me off list and
I'll happily try and help by phone.

All the best, Ibrahim Gucukoglu

  Hi Ibrahim,

  Thanks for response!

Yes I have 3 Mobile Broadband which basically is more or less mobile
broadband wherever you go in the country.

It's a small USB modem which you just plug in and basically goes wherever
you go if you wish!

Now the problem for me is that when I plug in the modem there is no way that
I can find to activate the broadband.

There is an icon for a sighted person which I believe is 'connect but my Jaws
8 will not speak that for me.

Now somebody put a shortcut to it for me which worked for a while but not
now!

Now that possibly is another matter, gremlins and that.

So basically I would like to know how to start up the 3 mobile broadband
internet as a screen reader user?

  Any suggestions gratefully appreciated.

I don't really want to return the product until I have explored all avenues.

Oh yes I did contact 3 but they didn't know the answer, sttrangely!

By the way I live in Dublin Ireland but the situation of 3 should be
something the same as UK I reckon.

   Tony

    Hi Tony.

I'm on three and use their services without difficulty. Please could you
explain what you mean by three mobile? Are you referring to the mobile
broadband or the standard mobile service for making calls, sending text and
multimedia messages etc. I'd oblige you for further information.

      Hi all,

I have 3 mobile as a ttrial but I don't think that it is accessible!

It works when I get on board but to access the to get it going is a
problem without sighted assist.

      Anyone ideas on this?

I should say that I'm in Ireland but imagine that the setup should be
something similar in the UK.Tony
