Hi Ray Just tried it for you with BT Directory Enquiries on 195, and they couldn't give me the number either. I would phone their London HQ and ask to either be put through to the Birmingham office, if they can transfer you, or request a number and advise them it isn't available under the method you and I have just tried. Alternatively, perhaps their website will list different offices somewhere. On neitheroccasion couldthey find the number listed, though i know the officeexists with anaddress in Great Charles Street. One operator, the more helpful of the two I tried, saidshe thoughtthat probably it wasn't a BT number, therefore it didn'tcome up inthe listings. Is this true? Since when has BT 195enquiries been sosectarian? Would anyone else with a BT connection care to try theirluck and seeif they come up with the same result as I did? In themeantime off tofind the number on the internet. I don't keep my computeron 247these days, and didn't want to turn it on until later, butwith thissort of unco-operativeness I don't see I had much choicereally.Cheers, From Ray I can be contacted off-list at: mailto:ray-48@xxxxxxxx ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-followinglink:-**[mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe]** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click onthe** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
