Dear family,
Please take a few minutes out of your day to pray right now for the fires that are consuming California. We in Santa Barbara are complaining about the ash and the poor air quality but the reality is that families are losing their homes, their businesses. As one sister shared with me, these people need to be turning to God right now. They need the peace and comfort that can only come from God. They need to be reminded that our permanent home is not here on earth. Please please, take just a few minutes to pray for these families and for the firefighters and everyone involved in trying to contain these fires. I just watched a video of a news reporter watching and reporting on his own home burning down and it is heart breaking.
Let us support them in the best way we know how, through pray and lifting the situat

to the Lord.
