Just a couple of things:
Committee Meeting
This Monday, October 17 is the Committee Meeting. The meeting will be held
at 7:00PM at the Wood Dale Fire Station. All parents are welcome.
Spaghetti Chairperson
We still need someone to chair this annual fundraiser. We are a little over
a month away (Nov 12). As of now I will be out of town that evening,
therefore, the troop needs someone to help coordinate this event. Even if
you have no experience, I and others are willing to help guide you. You do
not need to do this alone.
We need all families to sign-up for a position:
Food and Bakery Donations - Wedemann
Kitchen Supplies - Kawalkowski
Cooks - Terry Fults to coordinate
Tickets - Open
Raffle Donations - Open
Raffle Table - Open
Community Advertising - Open
Placemat Ads - Open
Split-the-Pot - Open (2 slots)
Church Door Sales (Rear and Front) 4 slots - Open
Beverage Table - Scouts
Medical Chair
Need a person to manage the troop medical forms and ensure everyone is
up-to-date. Effective January 1, 2017 we will no longer have a medical
chair, therefore, this position needs to filled. Therefore, there is time to
transition this role.
Re-Charter
The troop recharter will take place in early December. Therefore, please
keep an eye out for information coming out in late October/ early November
Popcorn
Please coordinate with Marty Welmers if you have not worked your time slot
for popcorn sales or if you have decided to do the buyout.
Elections
We will be holding Committee Elections in the month of November. If you are
interested in either being the Committee Chairperson, Treasurer or Secretary,
please submit your name for nomination to me no later than November 5.
