I don't have a Soundblaster card, just a bitty on-board chip.:) I have this SBUtils folder you mentioned, and it was created when my computer was restored after the format, so I guess it is part of something that was preinstalled. The properties only says it is version 1.0.0.3, the name is SBWatchDogAtl Module. No company. Ah well, another one of NEC/Packard Bell's great mysteries, I guess. Thanks, anyway.
