Ensign Melody finished up tending Ensign Desho's broken arm with the normal
speach of how dangerous the holodeck can be with the safeties disabled and
listened to his hollow promise not to do so again. But she heard in his
thoughts that he was planning to do an even more dangerous course next week and
it just wouldn't be the same if the safties were in place. ~He's going to get
himself killed.~ Melody accidentaly broadcast just as young Malachi Frysk
entered sickbay. She made a note to inform the captian of the situation and
dismissed Desho.
Melody smiled at Malachi as Desho exited. She couldn't help but notice he was
growing into one heartbreaker of a young adult. She wasn't too much older then
he was, being 18 of her planets years in age. But of course her planets years
were three months longer then that of Earth's. So she had recalculated her age
by Earth standards which made her appear, on paper at least, to be older.
She noticed that Mal's eyes came to rest on the book on known psionic powers
she had left sitting on one of the instrament carts. "So.. Mr. Frysk how can I
help you? You're not ill are you? You don't look it."
