That's a good price for the transistor but seems to me if it was a horz repair kit it would have the culprit 2455 the 47 uf 25 volt cap included. I installed a BU2508DX after replacing 2455 and the set ran all day and the transistor stayed cool but I will get the BU4508DX on Monday to be safe.
