[bksvol-discuss] Re: Banned Books

I'm willing to validate any fiction that no one else
wants to do, though I am a bit trepidatious (if there
isn't such a word, I'm making it up) about books with
torture and rape. However, horrible things don't
bother me as much when reading; moviues are another
matter totally.

And I don't mind Christian fiction or religious
nonfiction, either, even though I am (don't shudder or
hate me for this confession) a nonbeliever. Nonfiction
that is pedantic or written in an overly scholarly
manner I find more difficult from an interest point of
view, and I end up not reading it word-for-word, as I
do most things, but doing spell-checks and page checks
and eyeballing of pages to catch any errors I might
catch.

I will say that some of the books I didn't look
forward to doing, that nobody else wanted or that had
problems that needed my eyesight, I found interesting
and and edifying.

So anyone who wants any book made available but
doesn't want to validate it themselves, just let me
know. smile
