Peter mi ha risposto, e non sono belle notizie per quanto riguarda la
versione zippata dei files installati di Taste 1.02c che mi hai mandato...

I'm sorry to hear that the Taste 1.02c upgrade disk has been damaged and is
no longer readable. I wonder if there's any way in which it can possibly be
recovered using KryoFlux or Super Card Pro.
Unfortunately, the files in the Taste.zip archive are unusable as they are
missing their resource forks.
It appears that your friend has installed the update files into a Mac OS X
filesystem, which is incompatible with the Classic Mac OS 9 and earlier
filesystems.
It may be possible to do something with these files, but I'm fairly certain
that the resource forks will turn out to contain essential information.
If the Taste 1.0 disks can be dumped successfully, then it might be
possible to open the TBOSG 1.02c document provided it does not use any of
the features specific to version 1.02c.
It is only the fact that I'm very busy at the moment that has stopped me
from making any progress with the TBOSG backup disks, but I am sure I will
be able to extract the document when I get around to it.
If your friend cannot find someone to image those disks, he is welcome to
send them to me (and the damaged 1.02c update disk) instead. For me, that
job would be much easier than extracting the Norton Backup disks.

Non so cosa rispondergli, dimmi tu... Claudio riesce a fare qualcosa per
quei dischi?
Peter è attrezzatissimo con schede varie (ha citato ad es. la KryoFlux e la
Super Card Pro) e una marea di floppies ed esperienza, ma non voglio certo
sentirmi responsabile se non dovesse riuscire a salvare il contenuto del
tuo floppy rigato (gli altri da 800KB immagino che non gli creino alcun
problema) o se il pacco andasse perso durante il tragitto di andata o
ritorno :-(. Puoi tenerlo come ultima spiaggia.
Fammi sapere... mi sembrava avessi qualche amico in zona che poteva
provare, nel frattempo... L'importante è che non peggiorino la situazione
con drives sporchi ecc.

P.S. nel frattempo posso chiedergli, come ha ipotizzato, se riesce a fare
qualcosa con quei files (recuperarli/creare una versione eseguibile ecc.)
anche se mancanti dei resource forks
