In the previous update, we established the Next boards for all backers (Just The Board tier and every other tier with extra pledges for the board) would be shipping today, November 27th.
Last week, as planned, we got the first batch of 20 boards off the plant and tested them for full validation on site and remotely. Unfortunately, two issues were raised: the new memory brand used differed from the original in an undocumented manner causing random freezes; and production missed a mask to protect the board's parts with no components populated (real time clock, JTAG connector etc.), causing these areas to be filled with solder (a problem for people looking to update later by themselves).
We were still on track for today's shipping, until earlier this morning the manufacturer updated us that they'll need a few more days to fix the masking issues.

As soon as this is fixed today and tomorrow, production resumes and the boards will be flashed with the latest firmware that fixes the memory peculiarity (thanks to Victor and Fabio for working overnight and finding the elusive issue fast last Thursday).
So, the final (/final final hopefully please god/) date for shipping is Monday next week (4th Dec) for UK backers, and the next day (Tuesday 5th Dec) for international backers.
We're super sorry for this latest delay -- it shouldn't have happened. We've never experienced the masking problem in previous batches (Issue 0, 1 & 2), thus it wasn't something we had mapped as a risk or we would have 'baked' it in into the promised date. One of those things...
