[ztebladeopensource] Gingerbread update?

I was thinking about this for a long time now.
I do not need direct answer, just the current status of the idea. Will we
get Gingerbread, as an official update from the carriers, or from you?
The hardware is given for it, and only a bit of work needed to get it
running (on MoDaCo there is already a working one what needs Your RIL
extensions of the framework).
