Thank you Ralf, excellent service as usual. I downloaded the trial of v 5.0.0 and, as you say, that version supports the select min(x),y from... in the way I would expect. Sorry for the questions. It didn't occur to me that it was the sql not being supported in quite the same way by my older version. I'll take a look back at my older appliocations in case of side effects - and I'll read your version notes more carefully next time! regards Howard > Date: Thu, 26 Sep 2013 18:01:04 +0200 > From: delphi@xxxxxxxx > To: yunqa@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [yunqa.de] Re: [yunqa.de] RE: [yunqa.de] Re: > DISQLite3Database.execute() produces incorrect results (so does SQLiteSpy, > but not other db managers)? > > On 26.09.2013 16:58, H M wrote: > > > The object inspector for the TDISQLite3Database component I have shows > > the value of SQLiteVersion to be 3.7.6. > > SQLite version 3.7.6 is a very older version, dating back to 2011-04-12. > The corresponding version of DISQLite3 is 2.4.4, released on the same day. > > My tests with the current DISQLite3 v. 5.0.0 (released yesterday) show > exactly the results you expect. > > Can you please test by downloading either the latest DISQLite3 (a demo > is available) or the latest SQLiteSpy (if you do not want to install > DISQLite3). > > If they work well for you (as I expect them to do), my suggested > solution would be to upgrade your DISQLite3. > > Ralf > _______________________________________________ > Delphi Inspiration mailing list > yunqa@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > //www.freelists.org/list/yunqa > > >
