Hi Ralf OK, completely reinstalled XE2. There is a problem I have not seen before. It's a c:/users/... thing. It installs .bpls to the 'public' folder rather than the actual 'users' /documents/ directory. This is causing all sorts of problems with combining different installs into the same package it seems. Not sure if it me or whether this is new to XE2. AS I have never had this happen before. But it seems that if there was a directive in your package that avoided installing the .bpl into the /users/****/documents etc directory - but rather it created its own install directory or the main XE2 install directory (as others 3rd party add-ons have done). Just stay away from the users directory. I cannot fully define what is happening, so this probably is confusing, sorry.
