INSTR(X,Y) was added in the 2012-12-12 release of SQLite. I could really use this function in my SQLiteSpy queries and hope that it is not a big deal to recompile SQLiteSpy with the later SQLite engine to provide access to the function. I'm sure you have other priorities, Ralf, and hope that there will be a successor to the 28 Jul 2011 release of SQLiteSpy real soon ;-).
