If DISqlite3 uses only the RTL, no VCL, it should also work on the Mac, as someone else said. Or is there something specific that prevents this?

Thanks!

Can DISqlite3 be used with FireMonkey?

Yes. DISQLite3 It compiles successfully with FireMonkey. It uses System
and Data units only and no VCL units.

Do I just bypass the non-visual components and use the API calls directly?

The visual components compile as well. In FireMonkey, use live bindings
instead of the traditional VCL data-aware controls.

Also, is the API in a state where it can be used on non-Windows platforms?

No. DISQLite3 is Windows only, both Win32 and Win64.
