[yshavurah] Hanukkah week

Two things about Hanukkah weekend coming up. First of all we will
be having a Hanukkah party at our home on Sunday, Dec. 12 at
5:30 p.m. It will be a potluck. Bring your menorahs! We will also
have a live holiday musical performance by Esther Rothman, Mitzy
Manny, Barbara Case and Flo Lorenz! One other suggestion: in the
spirit of giving without giving in to the commercialism of the season,
we are suggesting that you comb through your houses and bring
along items that you no longer use or want. We will have an open
swap and whatever is left over will be given to Goodwill or some
other tzedakah.
Also, that same weekend, ther is a special Storahtelling
Performance group that will be in Dayton. They will be performing
and teaching the following times:
Friday (12/10) at 7:30 at Temple Israel
Sat. (12/11) at 10:30 a.m. at Temple Israel and then at the kiddush
luncheon at noon.
Sat. (12/11) at 7 p.m. at the home of the Neiger family: a musical
havdalah
Sun. (12/12) at the CJCE at 2 p.m.: A Storahtelling Ritual
Performance.
Some of the programs have a fee.
