Whenever saving I think we should save both. If anyone with an older version
of
Yoshi or Zyn gets a bank containing these, only the .xiz one will be picked
up.
If they re-save then pass it back we would be able to easily see that the .xiz
one no longer matched the .xiy one and give appropriate options.
Saving two files sounds confusing to me. I don't know any other program
that does this. Not to mention that they are not guaranteed to sound the
same. I think it's better to make a conscious choice and save the right
format at the time of the save action, and then stick to that for that
instrument. You can always convert a xiy to xiz later if you made a mistake.
