Hi,

I am a new user of Yoshimi and I think it is an excellent soft synth. I have recently been interested in its microtonal capabilities for custom scales.

I am not sure if this feature already exists, but is there a way to change the middle note in the keyboard mapping section of the scales dialog (or even every control in the scales dialog) via MIDI messages? I have tried midi learn, but this does not work as the control is unlearnable. This way, it would be possible to write music in just intonation and modulate to different keys by changing the tuning on the fly. I was thinking of using the very bottom set of 12 notes on the keyboard (midi notes 0-12) to change the key centre the tuning is referenced to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Nick
