Dear YESSers,
we are happy to announce that YESS is organizing a pre-conference training
on the Sunday preceding the ESP 10 World conference.
This 1-day training is a great opportunity to gain skills on paper
reviewing, the ethics of academic publishing / open access, networking and
science communication.
We are very happy that several researchers with editorial roles in the
ESP-related journals (Ecosystem Services, Ecosystems and People, One
Ecosystem) have already showed their availability to sit in an expert panel
to provide input to workshop participants. They are Dolf de Groot, Benjamin
Burkhard, Berta Martín-López, Alexander van Oudenhouven, Matthias
Schroetter, Louise Willemen and Evangelia Drakou (some of them still tbc).
Besides getting inputs from / discussing with experts, the workshop is a
good opportunity to learn from your peers, through hands-on activities we
have planned.
