We received a notification about Researching Pitching Competetion that might be
of interest to you:
Hi, My name is Anna Reponen and I am reaching out to you regarding the Research
Pitching Competition by Slush & Skolar<https://skolaraward.fi/> for
postdoctoral researchers. I wanted to let you know that the application period
for the competition (August 14th to September 18th 2019) is closing soon. We
are hoping to reach all potential postdocs!
I hope the previous message has reached you well, but if not, here is some
basic information about the competition in a nutshell: The Research pitching
competition is for postdoc researchers. The winner of the competition receives
a €100 000 grant for their research. All she/he has to do is to have a new and
ambitious research idea and pitch it well. The final of the competition takes
place at Slush<http://www.slush.org/>, which is the biggest startup event in
the Nordic countries and will be held in Helsinki, Finland on November 22nd

The call is open for postdocs in all fields, so could you kindly forward the
message below to your University’s email lists or intranet? Below you can find
short texts, an article and a picture, which you can use to spread the news.

Research Pitching Competition by Slush & Skolar looks for courageous young
postdoc researchers from all fields of research and from all over the world.
The 8 finalists will get a free pitching bootcamp and pitch their research on
Slush stage on the 22nd of November. The winner receives a €100K Skolar Award
to advance her/his research. The competition and award are jointly funded by
research foundations. The finalists and winner are selected by an academic
jury. The call for applications opens August 14th and closes September 18th.
