Dear YESSers,

The journal People and Nature from the British Ecological Society has just
announced its new annual prize for the best article by an early career
researcher. The prize is named after Rachel Carson. Besides the prestige of
being awarded the prize in itself, the winner receives £250 and membership
of the BES, which are presented at the BES Annual Meeting in the UK, if the
winner can attend.

There was already a winner and a runner-up for 2019. You can read more
about it here:

Disclaimer: I am associate editor for People and Nature. Nevertheless, I
really think this is a nice opportunity for YESS members and that the
journal is quite relevant for our community's interests/research.

Cheers,
André
