Dear fellow YESSers,
I'm Antonia Bogadi, and I'm a PhD researcher at Technical University in
Vienna, Austria, on Centre of Regional Planning.
My PhD thesis is concerned about the phenomena of knowledge utilisation in
governance networks dealing with the urban green infrastructure
implementation. My plan is to have two case studies, two governance
networks taken into account: one Viennese, and another in USA.
Currently I'm looking at which American urban green infrastructure project
as a case study to choose.
I'm looking for a small scale project which is ongoing or recently
completed, with involved actors from different sectors: city offices,
citizen organisations, research institutions, house owners etc. So far I´ve
tried to contact (with cca 20 emails!) the Chicago city officials, but got
no single answer. Is that common thing in USA, officials not answering? I
had no problem with that in Vienna.
Please, if it's there someone who's familiar with what's going on in urban
green infrastructure implementation in Chicago area, maybe about Chicago's
sustainable renewal street projects, any information or recommendation
would be precious.
Thank you, I wish you all much success in ES work and beyond, and kind
greetings from Vienna!
Antonia
