Dear all,
At CREAF we’re seeking three staff researchers and I kindly ask you to spread
this information among your contacts.
CREAF is seeking three staff researchers to pursue independent, internationally
recognized research programs. The three new positions are part of our
international scope and linked to our accreditation as a Severo Ochoa Centre of
Excellence. Positions are full-time research, based in Bellaterra (Barcelona,
Spain), with total contract duration of three years and possibilities of
stabilization via specific tenure-track. The desired start is July 2021.
We pay special attention to equal opportunities for talent and gender issues,
this is why two of the three positions offered will be exclusively for women.
We are open to those developing theoretical or empirical work or based on
analysis of large databases. Multidisciplinary approaches are particularly
welcome, and we are especially interested in a science for solutions approach
to global challenges, with emphasis in:
* Biodiversity conservation and restoration.
* Global change and social ecology.
* Big data ecology.
The main requirements are the following:
* To have a PhD, post-doctoral research experience in a relevant field and
evidence of research junior leader experience (equivalent to assistant
professor or research fellow positions). The desirable postdoctoral + junior
leader experience would be >5 years.
* Experience leading research projects and/or advising PhD thesis.
* Research aligned with CREAF's.
