Dear fellow YESSers,

We are inviting you to submit your extended abstract / case study to our
Thematic Session (T16) “In search of policy instruments for ecosystems
conservation: a decision-tree approach to PES, REDD+ and Biodiversity
Offsets practices” at the ESP Europe Conference in Tartu
<https://www.espconference.org/europe2020>, Estonia, June 2021. The
deadline is 15 Feb 2021!

The goal of our session is to bring together participants in a practical
workshop that proposes to make use of a *decision tree approach* applied
to identify common challenges and distinct goals and select the 'best for
now' option between *PES, REDD+ and Biodiversity Offsets* considering the
practical cases presented and the examples distributed to the groups in
this session. It will be a totally *practical exercise* with joint
outcomes.

We especially invite practitioners (conservation practitioners, public
managers) involved in the creation and application of ecological
compensation tools, academics with policy work experience and policy makers
from all levels of governance. Since this session is a *collaborative
effort of YESS members*, we strongly encourage members of the network to
join us in this session!

Please see our call for more details.
You can submit your 500-word abstract here, the deadline has been extended
to February 15th.
See our other YESS call here on Twitter, too!
