Paul from OxNatBees has asked if some of us from Wye Natural Beekeepers would
be interested in attending a Joint Meeting with the folk from Oxfordshire
Natural Beekeepers and Hampshire Natural Beekeepers. The date will be Saturday
10th August and the place will be at Gareth John’s apiary near Burford.

This is an opportunity to meet members of Hampshire Natural Beekeepers
<http://hampshire.naturalbees.net/>, a group like ours headed by John Haverson
(a Warre expert). We're also inviting a few folk from Wye Valley Natural
Beekeepers to increase networking opportunities.
We’ll find out times nearer the date. As Paul says, it will be a great
opportunity to meet natural beekeepers from other groups and to hear their
priorities and preferences. Let me know if you’re interested and I’ll let Paul
and Gareth know how many of us are likely to want to turn up.
More locally, the delightful Hellens Garden Festival will be the weekend of
8th/9th June. If you haven’t been before, it’s a small but perfectly-formed
local festival. BfD will have a stall there along with many others, there are
excellent teas, and of course there is the wonderful house and garden to
A reminder too that our summer meeting will be on Sunday 30th June at 3pm at
Janet’s. I’ll send out directions nearer the time to those who let me know you
want to come along!
